What is better than waking up to breakfast all ready to eat?
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 medium apple chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Combine water, milk, oats and apple in 4-quart slow cooker*.
- Cook on low 8 hours.
- Stir in brown sugar.
- Serve with milk and top with fruit or nuts.
If you have a larger slow cooker, you may want to double recipe or shorten cooking time.
