PB & Pumpkin Dog Treats

Ingredients  

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour

Steps 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine peanut butter, pumpkin, egg, water and honey. Stir until well-combined. Add the flour and beat with an electric mixer until mixture forms a dough. Roll dough out on floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Cut dough into biscuits using a 2-inch cookie cutter and transfer to parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until biscuits are crisp and golden brown. Turn oven off. Let biscuits dry in oven overnight.
