One more update while I am here.  After hearing the rave reviews from my Dad when my Mom made this, I finally got around to trying the Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake myself last week.  Mine tasted great, but did not look nearly as pretty as my mom’s, so here’s some of her handiwork.
