Gina’s Sweet Italian Sausage
This is the third recipe I’ve tried for homemade sausage and so far, its my favorite. Its a little garlicky and a little spicy.
Ingredients
- 6 pounds pork shoulder boned and cubed
- 5 teaspoons fennel seed cracked
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper ffresh ground, medium grind
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons rubbed sage
- 1-2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
- 1 cup white wine very cold
Instructions
- Grind pork.
- Mix in seasonings by hand.
