Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients  

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 medium apple chopped
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Steps 

  1. Combine water, milk, oats and apple in 4-quart slow cooker*.
  2. Cook on low 8 hours.
  3. Stir in brown sugar.
  4. Serve with milk and top with fruit or nuts.

Notes

If you have a larger slow cooker, you may want to double recipe or shorten cooking time.
