Overnight Oatmeal

What is better than waking up to breakfast all ready to eat?

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 medium apple chopped
  • ΒΌ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Combine water, milk, oats and apple in 4-quart slow cooker*.
  • Cook on low 8 hours.
  • Stir in brown sugar.
  • Serve with milk and top with fruit or nuts.

Notes

If you have a larger slow cooker, you may want to double recipe or shorten cooking time.
