Pulled Pork Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 pounds Boston butt pork roast
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 large sweet onion chopped
  • 3 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 pound pasta rotini rotelle, or corkscrew shapes work best

Steps 

  1. Brown pork roast in olive oil on all sides.
  2. Place browned pork in crock pot with all other remaining ingredients.
  3. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  4. Remove meat from sauce, discard bones. Shred meat and return to sauce.
  5. Cook pasta per package instructions.
  6. Serve pork sauce over cooked pasta; store any extra sauce in freezer.
