Pulled Pork Spaghetti Sauce

I got tired of BBQ pulled pork and made this up instead.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 pounds Boston butt pork roast
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 large sweet onion chopped
  • 3 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 pound pasta rotini rotelle, or corkscrew shapes work best

Instructions

  • Brown pork roast in olive oil on all sides.
  • Place browned pork in crock pot with all other remaining ingredients.
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  • Remove meat from sauce, discard bones. Shred meat and return to sauce.
  • Cook pasta per package instructions.
  • Serve pork sauce over cooked pasta; store any extra sauce in freezer.
