Simple tuna melt

Ingredients  

  • 1 3.3 oz can Tuna, canned in water 2.8oz
  • 1 tbsp Light mayo 0.5oz
  • 1 dash Black pepper
  • 2 slices Whole-grain bread 2.3oz
  • 1 medium Tomato, whole, sliced 4.3oz
  • 1 tbsp Cheddar cheese, reduced fat, shredded 0.2oz

Steps 

  1. Preheat broiler to medium high.
  2. In a small bowl, add tuna, mayo and black pepper; mix to combine.
  3. Spread tuna mixture over two slices of bread. Top with tomato slices and sprinkle over the cheese.
  4. Place slices onto a baking tray and place under the broiler, until cheese has melted.
