Ingredients  

  • 1 large Whole-wheat pita (6-1/2" dia) 2.3oz
  • 2 tbsp Avocado, sliced 1.1oz
  • 2 oz Chicken breast, cooked, shredded 2oz
  • 2 cup Arugula 1.4oz
  • 1 medioum Tomato, whole, sliced 4.3oz
  • ¼ Cucumber, sliced 2.7oz
  • 1 tbsp Basil, fresh, chopped 0.1oz

Steps 

  1. Cut an opening in the pita bread and fill with avocado, chicken, arugula, tomato, cucumber and basil.
  2. TIP: For cooler days, toast pita in a sandwich press for a warm lunch option. If preferred, add salad vegetables after toasting.
