Rice Pudding

Ingredients  

  • 8 ounce rice
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 quarts milk hot
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 ounce sugar
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 4 ounce rasins optional

Steps 

  1. Cook rice with water and cinnamon stick until water is absorbed.
  2. Add hot milk and simmer 30 minutes.
  3. Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add to mixture.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
