Rice Pudding

This sounds good; why haven't I made it?

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce rice
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 quarts milk hot
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 ounce sugar
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 4 ounce rasins optional

Instructions

  • Cook rice with water and cinnamon stick until water is absorbed.
  • Add hot milk and simmer 30 minutes.
  • Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add to mixture.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
