Asian Roast Pork

Ingredients  

  • 5 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried Thai chile peppers
  • 1 4- pound pork shoulder

Steps 

  1. Combine salt, sugar and pepper in small bowl.
  2. Transfer pork shoulder to resealable plastic bag. Pour salt mixture into bag and seal. Massage seasoning into pork through bag and refrigerate over night.
  3. The next day, place marinated pork shoulder in crock pot (on a rack, if you have one). Cook on low for 8 hours. Let cool and shred meat, discarding bones.
