Cranberry apple oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Skim milk
  • 1 cup Old fashioned, rolled oats
  • ½ cup Wheat bran
  • 1 medium Apple, diced, leave skin on
  • 1 cup Cranberries, whole, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar, unpacked
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon, groun
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp Ground cloves

Instructions

  • In medium pot, bring 2 cups water and milk to a boil. Add oats and wheat bran and cook about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in diced apple, cranberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and cloves.
  • Cook for an additional 3 minutes or until oatmeal reaches desired consistency.
