Sage Sausage

I made this to include in our family's Thanksgiving Chestnut Stuffing, but after sampling the results with some scrambled eggs, I'll probably be making more for weekend breakfasts too.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried sage
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 pinches ground cloves
  • 4 pounds ground pork

Instructions

  • Combine all spices and water and mix well.
  • Add to ground pork and mix thoroughly.
