Vegetable Stock

A simple way to make a simple stock.

Ingredients

  • onions
  • celery
  • carrots
  • garlic
  • peppercorns
  • bay leaf
  • water

Instructions

  • Chop veggies into large chunks. Divide garlic into individual bulbs and peel.
  • Place veggies into stock pot and cover with water.
  • Bring to a rapid boil and then lower heat and simmer for no more than 1 hour.
  • Strain stock.
