Sometimes making your own is easier than going to the store.

Vegetable Stock

Ingredients  

  • onions
  • celery
  • carrots
  • garlic
  • peppercorns
  • bay leaf
  • water

Steps 

  1. Chop veggies into large chunks. Divide garlic into individual bulbs and peel.
  2. Place veggies into stock pot and cover with water.
  3. Bring to a rapid boil and then lower heat and simmer for no more than 1 hour.
  4. Strain stock.
